For the curious and the bold: we’ll discover Jacob Hashimoto's masterful kite installation at SFMOMA, then walk to Berggruen Gallery, known for introducing San Francisco to Matisse, Kahlo, and Thiebaud. A light brunch and an insider’s conversation about the works with the gallery's curator- the kind of talk that makes you see art differently from here on out. Bring your curiosity & a friend.

Insider’s Guide to Painting the Natural World: Isabella Kirkland paints the natural world with a patience that rewards a long look — abundance and loss living on the same canvas. We'll gather at her studio on a Sausalito houseboat for conversation with her to learn about painting techniques, capturing nature and what lies ahead.

What makes a photograph memorable? We’ll start with a close look at A Gallery of Their Own: Women Artists at the deYoung, talking about what makes an image stay with us.
Then the museum transforms for Late Night Editions: Halloween Eve. We’ll wander the galleries with live DJs, food trucks, moody cocktails, and immersive photo moments around every corner. Disposable cameras in hand, we’ll see what we can capture ourselves. We’ll share our favorite shots from the group.
